something new!

Those beautiful wooden teething rings have been used to make something new!

Some sweet little teethers for little ones with sore gums.  They can chew and suck on these organic maple wood rings and ribbon taggies – lots of tactile sensory learning going on here!

These little cuties will be off to Under the Oak in the next week or so, where they will sell for $12.  There is also one on my madeit shop.  At the moment they are a limited run, but if they are popular they’ll be back!

endings…and beginnings

School holidays finish today.  They always fly by so fast, and are filled with so many wonderful things that I’m always so sad to see them end.

But it’s exciting to be starting a new school year.  New classrooms, new teachers, new friends, new uniforms and school bags…lots to look forward to, as well as yummy fresh strawberries and tomatoes from the garden in the new lunchboxes!  Toby’s in grade two this year, and Jasper is starting kinder at the same school (yay for slightly less driving!!!).

And I’m starting on a few new ideas for the happy nest as well.  These arrived in the mail today and I can’t wait to have a play with them, so stay tuned…
